This conference is in honor of Jaroslav Smítal on the occasion of his 65th birthday. Jaroslav Smítal is the founder of Czech-Slovak school of discrete dynamical systems, focused on low dimensional dynamics and topological dynamics.

The conference will be aimed at topological dynamics and low dimensional dynamics but other parts of dynamical systems theory and ergodic theory are not excluded. The number of all participants (including accompanying persons) is limited to 60.

The conference is organized by Faculty of Natural Sciences of Matej Bel University, Banská Bystrica, Slovakia and it is the second in the series of Visegrad conferences on dynamical systems, after the Visegrad Conference "Dynamical Systems, Prague 2005". The name is due to the fact that the International Visegrad Fund is the main sponsor of the conference. Recall that it sponsored also Workshop on Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems, Szklarska Poreba, 2006.

The conference will be held in hotel Baník at Štrbské Pleso, with the arrival on June 17th (Sunday) in the evening and the departure on June 23rd (Saturday) in the morning. Štrbské Pleso is the highest Slovak settlement (1335 meters above sea level). It lies in the High Tatras, the mountain range in the north of Slovakia (and the south of Poland). It is one of the most popular Slovak tourist resorts.

Please, see the list of sponsors and the conference poster.
